Young Person’s Competition: The Moon by Maria Guriteanu
September 27, 2024
The Moon light shines so bright,
While is putting us, safe to sleep tonight.
It’s singing a tune,
While it’s in a full bloom.
You could see the moon gloom,
In the middle of June.
In the darkness, the Moon creates a glowing path,
The colour of a ‘Sentimental Blue’.
It leaves a clue,
Of the memories that we grew.
Some of them we can’t undo,
And some of them we want to redo.
The Moon’s light fades away,
While the Sun makes it DAY!
