Is it just me? by Simranraj Kahlon
June 14, 2023
Two houses, two homes
From monday to sunday i’m moving from home to home
To be honest, I don’t know which is.. home.
Don’t trust him said my mum
Don’t go to her said my dad
Don’t trust them said Simmi (me)
Getting questioned by solicitors
My wants are not heard.
I’m my parents property now.
Am I an object to own?
I live of their wants
Wondering when I can make my own.
What had I done to deserve this?
Was I the reason for this?
Why am I in this?
Am I alone?
