Are you a keen writer, or someone who wants to try your hand at writing?
The Causley Festival of Arts & Literature will be offering people the chance to get their creativity flowing and put pen to paper with three digital writing workshops taking place over the festival weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July.
These writing workshops are an excellent way to learn more about the art of writing, while soaking up the inspiration of Causley and his hometown of Launceston.
The first of these three workshops will take place on the Friday from 10am to 11.30am, as Cornish performance word artist Megan Chapman focuses on performance poetry.
On Saturday from 1.15pm-2.45pm, writers will be able to put the wild into environmental poetry with Katrina Naomi, who has just released a new collection of poetry ‘Wild Persistence (Seren)’.
To complete the trio of writing workshops, poet, editor and journalist Cathy Galvin will be welcoming writers to ‘The Power of Three’ workshop from 10am-12pm. Here, you will share texts and writing exercises in a friendly environment, stimulating your imagination in the two hour session.
The Causley Festival of Arts & Literature is really excited to be welcoming these three highly acclaimed poets and writers to the lineup of the festival, with the workshops set to be a hit.
The workshops will take place digitally and tickets, costing £20, can be purchased by going to:
