Project Echo: Episode One

March 4, 2024

Listen to episode one!

A project composed by Arlo Anwin.

‘Series One (2023) Charles Causley: Project Echo’ features five episodes. Offering reflections collected from Penelope Shuttle, Patrick Gale and more – combined with an ever-evolving sonic composition, constructed from field recordings captured by Arlo Anwin from Cyprus Well throughout 2023.

Arlo Anwin and the Causley Trust are hopeful to produce a series each year, continuing to build an inspiring archive of stories around Charles and his work. By blending unique field recordings that are connected to Charles’ life, the work is a powerfully original way of bringing memory to life and capturing a snapshot of time. Each year the artefacts change, both in memory and in the physical world. They evolve and continue to be shaped by outside influence and everything that came before – this project is capturing a live, living and breathing legacy.

Stay tuned for episode two!
