Victoria won third place in the 5-11 years category in our 2022 Young People’s Poetry Competition.
If I ask that what is a home for you?
Various brilliant answers let us review.
Little babies hug their parents tightly,
Where parents are, where a home is surely.
Cheerful children can’t wait to show their house,
Where’s an amazing, sweet space without grouse.
Vibrant teens are keen to explore the world,
And home is where their marvellous dreams twirled.
Parents tell me home is a safe harbour,
Protecting us from dangers forever.
Grandparents say home is where the heart goes,
Recording the precious memories flows.
Therefore, what is a home eventually?
A relaxing, supportive, happy place,
Where is full with love, care, joy, trust and grace.
That is the wonderful warm home for me.
