Festival Submissions Call – Chosen poems!
Festival Submissions Call
We are very excited to share with you the chosen poets from our ‘Festival’ prompt!
As this year’s Launceston Poetry Festival is approaching, we are excited to get in the Festival spirit and share our love of poetry and community with these talented poets.
The theme ‘Festival’ is all about coming together, as we celebrate all the wonderful poets who are joining us in honouring Charles’s legacy as well as establishing their own inspiring voices.
To hear some of the chosen poets read their work, join us on the morning of Saturday 2nd May from 10-11am at the ‘Community Poetry Readings’ event.
Visit our Festival page for more info, and if you haven’t already, secure your ticket for our poetry events, from readings and workshops to poetry walks!
Whether you visit us in person in Launceston at our Festival weekend on 1st – 3rd of May or are enjoying the ‘Festival’ poems here on ‘The Maker’, we hope you’ll share in the celebrations!
