TRIGGER WARNING: SPIKING

Dear Maker writers

We hope you are all safe and well. During this month of publications, we have received a high volume of entries responding to a very distressing issue at present — spiking. We are saddened that our literary community are facing such fears and anxieties in their daily lives, but we applaud all writers who submitted work under this subject matter and their bold efforts to tackle this issue through their poetry and prose.

Today’s publication is ‘Choice?,’ written by a University of Exeter student, which explores the subject of spiking.

Spiking is a very serious problem, so if you feel affected by spiking, please see the links to guidance about how to stay safe, and a support service provider below:

Stay safe everyone.
