Last Friday, the 31st, we had the pleasure of welcoming local MP Ben Maguire to Cyprus Well and our Causley bookshop!

We were grateful to discuss the value of the Causley Trust to both the local community and the wider county, from our work mentoring young people beginning their journeys in the arts and in education management roles, to the wide range of volunteering opportunities we offer. We’re particularly proud of our ongoing commitment to highlighting and strengthening Cornwall’s creative spaces, as well as our work with under-resourced communities across the county. We also, of course, remain dedicated to preserving Charles’s home of fifty years, Cyprus Well, as a place for residencies, visits, and events, keeping his legacy alive and inspiring future generations of poets and readers alike ✨
