Getting Here & Where to Stay!
A guide for festival visitors - trains, buses, and places to rest your head.
Launceston can be a little tricky to reach by public transport, but as every good poet knows, the journey is just as important as the destination. We’ve gathered everything you need below to help your trip go smoothly.
BY TRAIN
For nationwide rail connections, we recommend travelling to Exeter and then continuing on to Okehampton.
Regular trains run from Exeter St David’s to Okehampton – this is the most straightforward rail route to the festival. From Okehampton, you can catch a connecting bus to Launceston.
DIRECT BUS SERVICES
Buses run directly into Launceston from Plymouth, Holsworthy, and Bude. This is a convenient option if you’re travelling from the south or the north coast of Devon and Cornwall.
