The Causley Festival of Arts & Literature 2021
As we look forward to another year of digital and online events, the organisers of The Causley Festival of Arts & Literature are calling for artists and performers from across the arts sector to submit an expression of interest in participating in the 2021 festival.
Following the huge success of the 2020 festival which, for the first time in its history went completely digital, and with coronavirus restrictions likely to affect 2021 events across the country; the festival organisers are getting geared up to welcome a range of new, diverse artists, writers, artists, poets and performers, to help deliver the annual festival to local, National and International.
Here’s everything you need to know if you are thinking about expressing your interest in joining us this year:
- We are seeking as diverse a lineup as possible, offering a range of professional activities from across the arts sector – music, theatre, literature, poetry readings, lectures, photography and more. If you think you can bring something new, different or popular to the table, we would love to hear from you. Those with an interest or link to the work of Charles Causley are particularly welcomed, although this is not an essential requirement.
- Due to the current uncertainty surrounding events and whether they can take place physically, we are asking that anyone interested in joining the lineup should be comfortable in digital formats of events, workshops and art forms.
- The 2021 Causley Festivals of Arts & Literature is an established and well regarded event, and as such we are seeking enquiries from professional artists and performers.
- We welcome expressions of interest from currently under-represented groups in the arts. We welcome all forms of diversity and would be delighted and honoured to share your art with the world.
The Causley Festival of Arts & Literature will take place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July, 2021. To make an expression of interest, please email info@causleytrust.org
