The Charles Causley Trust keeps alive the memory of the late Charles Causley and aims to raise the profile and appreciation of his work, and to promote writing and the other arts — especially (but not exclusively) in and around the community in which he lived, and the wider South West region of England.

Our key activities include:
— Maintaining Causley’s former home, Cyprus Well, and make it available as a place to stay and work via lettings and residencies.
— Educational activities in schools and further workshops to promote writing and the arts.
— An annual international poetry competition and young people poetry competition.
—The Launceston Poetry Festival.
— Mentoring opportunities with our organisation for working in the arts and heritage sector.
