To celebrate National Poetry Day, the Charles Causley Trust and Launceston Town Council are collaborating to provide a first for Launceston – a Poetry Slam!

The Slam will be compèred by our brand new Writer in Residence, Lou Sarabadzic.

Not sure what to expect?  Fear not!  This will be a very friendly and fun evening providing an chance for you to showcase your writing for CASH prizes.  You need to turn up and register by 6pm for the competition.  Judges will be selected on the night.  You will have a set time in which to read your poem with prizes for the most inspiring.
