Fun Palaces supports local people to co-create their own cultural and community events, across the UK and worldwide, sharing and celebrating the genius in everyone.
This year, we will be leading our own Fun Palace in our base in the Merchant House in Launceston town centre. An informal creative drop-in space for empowering writers at all stages in their writing journey, be inspired by the work, and mementos, of Launceston-born poet Charles Causley, who is recognised as one of the finest 20th Century British poets. Bring along your work, share it with others and develop new pieces.
Suitable for writers of all ages. Find full details here.
*Our Fun Palace is funded by FEAST
Fun Palaces is an ongoing national and international campaign, nurturing and supporting the potential and positivity of sharing people’s enthusiasms, passions and skills with their own local community. Fun Palaces has an annual weekend of events each October, although Fun Palaces can also happen at any time of year.
