We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Poetry Open Mic Evening with our 2023 Writer in Residence Rachel Piercey, hosted by The Byre.

Join us on Wednesday 22nd March from 7pm onwards at The Byre in Launceston Town Centre for a poetry open mic evening with Poet and children’s writer, Rachel Piercey. Come along and read your own poetry, your favourite poems and play your own songs. Entry is free, but spaces are limited.

The Byre was established in 2017 by Sarah Bradley. Sarah wanted to create a place for people to come to have a feel-good shopping experience, where they can feel comfortable browsing in a nice atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful things. She has searched over the years for products that bring her joy and specialises in Fair trade and eco products.
